Mar Azul Spanish School located in the beautiful beach of montanita, offers you the opportunity to receive personalized Spanish lessons in a familiar and friendly environment and at a convenient time. Your native Spanish-speaking trainer is qualified and will provide lessons and study materials according to your learning style. One-to-one, two-to-one and group learning options are available.

Our Spanish school is set in the attractive tranquil gardens of a beautiful three story wood house on the "quiet side" of Montanita and the sounds of the waves, trees, birds and tropical nature. Montanita is now in the best time of the year, sunny, warm and with the best waves in South america for Surfers.

Who are Mar Azul Spanish School?

My name is Gabriela Estrella, I am the owner of MarAzul Spanish School in montanita, I am a Spanish Teacher for more that 7 years almost 8... I can say that I love my job!

I just to work in some others schools in Ecuador, really good ones in Quito, where I earn my experience and my training in the University and some courses, there I got my diploma to teach spanish but also my degree as a Lawyer.

I worked with another spanish schools in Montanita, but to be honest, I did not like it, I have more vision in my life, I always want my own spanish school, my own business. My Ecuador is an amazing country and I really want to help to develop montanita, It is my country... Thats my dream.

My school is small and independent, I personally train my teachers to teach spanish, they also have the previous experience teaching by their own in others schools, and studies in the university also, all of them have degree in education. I do not accept fake teachers like other schools, we offer quality not quantity.

We prepare together programs and excersises every week, I create by myself my own excersises book and materials for our spanish lessons, we include it for free in your program. We do not copy and sell books of other people, we work with our own material and use IE system, International del EspaÃąol approved by Ministery of Education of Ecuador and Lengua Viva system. This two combiened create a really good way to learn spanish easily.

We work in a wood house seeting on the beach, in the quiet side of montanita, where you can see all nature around, listen birds and animals everywhere, and just 1 minute walking of the beach.

I chose Montanita to live because I love the beach, the sun, the community is amazingly friendly, waves and surfers my entreteinment, life here is very special, peaceful, crazy or just fun.. depends what you wants..

All around Montanita you can have fun, parties or to know new people, there are a lot of restaurants, bars, discoteques, the famous cocktel alley, but ONLY in one place you will learn spanish, is totally guaranteed!
